The budget in Minnesota didn’t pass before the end of June. This means that the state government closed down and the state workers were sent home. This is of course devastating for many businesses when they want to renew permits for example. MillerCoors found that out when their check for their Minnesota permit wasn’t precessed before the state government closed down. They have been told that they have to remove all their beers from the stores in Minnesota. For the MillerCoors drinker you can either see this as an catastrophic or a great opportunity. I see it as a great opportunity for all MillerCoors drinkers to discoverer something new and try the beer from their local or regional craft brewery. And that is of course what MillerCoors is afraid of. Their former customers might not come back.

ABC Eyewitness News in Minneapolis-St. Paul have a story about it.
