I have said this before, I’m not fond of the over hopped IPAs. To often the beer start of with a hoppy flavor and then more hops and finish with a bitter aftertaste. The balance with the other flavors is just absent. The Paradise Pale Ale from Island Brewing Company is, as the name says a Pale Ale, which should have a slight malty flavor. This beer start with a distinct hoppy citrus flavors, continues with more hops and the finish is bitter. Not really my type of beer. They use English and American malts and Amarillo hops. They use a hop infusion method when adding the hops. The alcohol content is 5.2%.
